DiSCOVERY Project Of The Week - Crimes Against Creation

'Coops' commences the new DiSCOVERY week by securing his second 'Project Of The Week' award. Coops' latest, brilliant body of work 'Crimes Against Creation' finds itself chiselled into our trophy, next to 'Lost Soul' - which we deciphered back in early April.

'Crimes Against Creation' was published just 13 days ago, on the 9th of July. Whilst the number '13' is widely documented to be unlucky for some, Coops defies the laws of nature, and brings the fire, regardless of the superstition on song.

Consisting of just 8 tracks, it is absolutely evident that Coops has devoted the same, high focus to each and every slice of 'Crimes Against Creation'. Sometimes, the most extensive albums are also the most frustrating; there are many bodies of work which could be considered 'classic' if the artist refined the track list just a little.

It seems as if Coops has consciously utilised 'Illmatic' as his 'Crimes Against Creation' blueprint, and has therefore adopted the admirable attitude, that less is indeed more on occasions. As a result, Coops has procured a project which is destined for 'legendary' status.

What is most impressive about 'Crimes Against Creation' is the fact that there are ample amounts of every emotion experienced throughout the 23 minute, and 20 second musical meditation masterpiece.

In a boisterous, banger craving mood? You may wish to pump 'Piss Poor'. In a more tranquil, mellow mood? You may wish to tune into 'Profile'. In a revolutionary, generation rectifying mood? You may wish to cascade your attention on the title track - 'Crimes Against Creation'.

The sheer versatility of 'Crimes Against Creation' is faultless, and each track's appeal to alternative situations will ensure this particular project is present until the end times. This cannot be said for a lot of the music published today. This is a truly gargantuan achievement by Coops.

Whilst on the subject of specific songs, we are, as always, insistent on making our individual track ratings visible. With this in mind, please see our honest thoughts below:

Track Of The Project - 'Crimes Against Creation'

As is clearly detailed above, 5 out of 8 tracks have been awarded ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ / ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Therefore, our decision to allocate a 'Track Of The Project' was ridiculously tough. As a result, our choice has been based on our current, unwavering love for conscious, thought provoking phrases. This is exactly what 'Crimes Against Creation' provides listeners with.

Throughout the 'Crimes Against Creation' track, Coops unapologetically delivers his opinion on the faults of this world, and urges those who are listening to educate future generations on the wrongful acts of world leaders, and the 'system' on a whole.

"For the future generations we should all feel an obligation, to channel our frustrations against this false narration. This is our story, there's no negotiation, they're out here committing crimes against creation."

As always, if you are reading this, thank you for taking the time to be here, and we do hope you enjoyed our article. If you did enjoy, please share our content with a friend, and send us your feedback - we will re-post it.

Thanks - DiSCOVERY 💽🖤
