DiSCOVERY Project Of The Week - Deja Vu

As the DiSCOVERY 'Project Of The Week' levels continue to elevate, this weeks' victor reaches a whole new echelon. Brighton-born lyricist 'Louie Le Vack' neatly swerves competition to secure 1st position on the 'Project Of The Week' podium; this winning performance is fuelled by Louie Le Vack's incredible debut body of work 'Deja Vu'.

Released in closing stages of 2018, 'Deja Vu' comprises of 8 uniquely phenomenal tracks, which align to create a 25 minute, and 57 second highly gratifying musical spectacle. Throughout the totality of 'Deja Vu', listeners are presented with immaculately crisp, differing flows, effortlessly powerful vocal delivery, and vast variety. When these specified elements combine, the effects are immense.

Incredibly, for a project made up of a mere 8 songs, there is absolutely a segment to suit each individuals' taste, and create an eardrum orgasm. Louie Le Vack tactfully includes this wide vibe variation in order to appeal to a diverse audience, and he has succeeded with flying colours.

This particular piece of the 'Deja Vu' story is most apparent when analysing specific vocal chapters. Songs such as 'Swerve It', and 'LeVels' provide fans with melodic, car cruising material. Whilst album anthems 'Faded', and 'Evil' produce dark, aggressive, and somewhat sinister sounds. Perfectly suited for a release of rage.

What is most impressive about the 'Deja Vu' style amalgamation is the fact that Louie Le Vack delivers each differing genre with ease, and whilst remaining completely authentic. This is admirable.

Whilst the DiSCOVERY 'Deja Vu' review has in many ways been truant for 2 years, it is also arguably expertly timed. Louie Le Vack has announced via Instagram that he will be creating his own true, vivid sense of déjà vu, with his new project 'Deja Vu 2' due to be released this month.

We are ecstatic to hear how Louie Le Vack's sound has evolved, and no doubt grown in stature over the last 2 years, however, before the release of 'Deja Vu 2'', it is imperative you listen to 'Deja Vu'. As always, we are keen to provide you with our strategic track ratings. Please see below:

Track Of The Project - 'Faded'

In truth, there is no singular 'Track Of The Project' on 'Deja Vu'. It is completely subjective to how you are feeling, and what message you want to absorb in that particular moment. At present, we feel 'Faded' is creeping ahead of the alternative options, however, on another day, we could opt for 'Swerve It', 'LeVels', or even 'Evil'. This is testimony to the sumo-like strength of the 'Deja Vu' project.

To conclude, we are delighted to have been able to dissect the phenomenal 'Deja Vu' album - this is for many reasons, however, most of all because Louie Le Vack epitomises what DiSCOVERY is all about. Our ethos is very much our blueprint to build upon, and it is important that we do not sway from our original design; which is to shed a god-like light on highly-talented, yet under-appreciated artists.

Whilst Instagram is by no means a success thermometer, it absolutely does provide an indication on an individuals' following. Louie Le Vack has an incredibly modest Instagram following of 2,300 people. For the level of quality produced, this number is absolutely criminal, however, this is why you are here today.

As always, thanks for reading, and once you have listened to 'Deja Vu', please comment your thoughts in the section below, or of course, on Instagram.
